Drift my GT?
Currious to what yall think... I have been drifting 240's for awhile now but I am domestic to the bone, corvettes, camaros, an my 98 SS I drive now. I've had 13 mustangs and my GT now I've had for 8yrs. its been through 4 different motor tranny set ups but always a strip car. I just dropped in a 306 and been thinkin about swappin out the drag suspension and set it up like my 240's to drift... I love the tq. that the stang has and it would be so much easier to overpower the tires to slide with the v8. I've had alot of alot of fun with the GT through the years from street racin to all out track car, now I think its time to change it again to a new autosports set up. I want to enter it in autocross and drift events. What do yall think?

There's a video of the one guy drifting his notch. I would much rather drive/drift a car with more Tq then have to predict when your boost is going to come in at. Just my $.02

It takes a ton of money to make a Foxbody handle worth a shit. All of those Griggs goodies in that "Drift Patrol" Mustang are at least $10-15k for parts. Good luck.

To tell you the truth id start out with a sn-95 body. But whatever floats your boat.Im sure a full suspension set-up for the fox will make it competitive.
