the 8 inch mustang ll rear is the same except its 4 lug. also pinto rear is same if its an 8 inch

Yeah but some of those Mavs came with the little 170 Cu In "intake in head" engine with the little turdhopper non banjo rearends. He may need one of those.

This rear will bolt into a 50 ford because of the leaf spring pads, its a perfect swap to up grade an early ford rear suspension--thats what I need---thanls for the other rear info--but this is the rear I need ---thanks Al

just thought i would mention that because the mustang ll is easier to find they made way more of those. and the 8 inch is pretty durable. but if you need 5 lug mavrick is the way to go. I just looked on craigslist and there is one on there but they want 350.00 for it but it has disc brakes on it

There is a yellow, 4 door maverick sitting in the Holding area at the LKQ junkyard in clearwater. I'm not sure of the year but I believe it's a 1974-later model with the large bumpers. Not sure if that one has the same dimensions you're looking for? Most likely it will be set out in the yard within a week or so if you wanna check it out.
