T56 input shaft

This may sound like a common sense question but Im replacing my stock 10 spline shaft with a 26 spline.Im looking to get a shop to adjust the output play with shims and dial indicator guage. Would a tranny or machine shop be more appropriate for this? Any recommendations in the Tampa area for shops?

I would try a tranny shop. Is this a race modification?

No problem. When I delete my own posts, I click edit post at bottom right. I then click the word delete at bottom right. Then I check the circle for delete. Then I click delete post at bottom right.
