Sold the Lightning for this..What to you guys think?
Hey guys!
Had a 00 Lightning for awhile. Honestly..Pretty awesome truck! When i get promoted to a Produce manager at Publix ill probably pick up a 03-04 dsg Lightning!
I had plans for it but the Lightning cost way too much money for a guy like me on a full-time budget at publix lol 9 bucks can only take you soo far..
Never liked the wheels but whatever lol.
Here is a pic of her.

Basically payed off my truck.
Suncoast schools was sooo garbage to me...would not approve me for anything..
Went to publix credit union. opened up a account..15 later approved for the loan i wanted!
Bought for 7500
This a 2004 Sonic Blue mustang gt. 5 speed black interior. bought from the original owner.
49,xxx miles, 70m tb, diablo tune, Mac prochamber/w flowmasters, cai, lowering springs
and 18inch chrome 03 cobras with a 10.5 back i beleive.
I can get more pics if you guys want but took two earlier on this week.

The car is nice and should be cheaper to maintain. It is a shame about the plug, but that happens all the time. If you do get an 03-04, at least the plugs won't be an issue anymore.

Sonic blue is my favorite color (except my 35 anny red) good call, here's three things I did to mine (before putting a blower on it) that worked REAL well.
1. 75mm throttle body / intake elbow / intake tube and filter (get the type that picks up outside the engine compartment) Some of these can be bought as a complete kit.
2. BBK "x" pipe
3. Steeda timing adjuster, I used to run the car on trips and occasionally would get a "check engine" light which was almost always pre ignition caused by crappy gas, so I used to back the timing off a few degrees, then bump it back up later. This timing adjuster was very handy for that.
My 99 actually knocked down over 21 mpg between Tampa and North Carolina.
It sounds like you are already most of the way there with the stuff already on the car.
