there may be some restrictions with air cargo, but generally those are only for warm-blooded animals. for tropical fish there aren't any (which these are technically considered even tho they aren't fish, but they do live in water, and they breathe air). i called 4 different airlines this morning and none of them do direct flights to miami from Tampa which is why i need them driven from my house to the miami metrozoo.

the zoo has contracts with delta, us air, united, and northwestern. none of them had acceptable flights available. they were expensive and would take more than 8 hours (including connections) to go from tampa to miami. BS. it's quicker and cheaper to drive them there and they will get treated better, i am sure.
