I can vouch for that. During our custody battle my Ex-wife said that I was molesting our daughter. The shit I went through,.. and the things that my daughter had to go through. 4 years and $30,000 later I have custody and I'm not in jail. And all I ever wanted was to just see and spend time with my daughter.

same thing happened to a friend of mine, but he had been divorced a few years, he had weekend visitation every other weekend. i guess she decided she didnt want to do that any more so made some shit up, three different times. he has not seen his daughter in about 4 years, and even then it was at a supervised center

We were seperated for almost a year when she started in on me. She got a new BF and decided I needed to be out of the picture perminantly and for me to be in jail would be the easiest way. What she didnt realize is that my daughter loves her daddy,.. her father (my father inlaw) took my side,.. and the rest was just a matter of time and money. And in the end I am a firm believer in karma. She got the house. (We lived in Md,.. we had a house on the bay). I lost my truck and had to sell my Camaro. She had 2 more kids (Unmarried) by her new BF,.. turned out he was fucking the baby sitter,.. they got into an arguement about it and she took a coke can and smashed the side of his head with it. He had her arrested and a restraining order put on her. She cant go back to the house,.. and as far as I know,.. she is still fighting him for custody of those kids today and still cant go in the house,.. he has whats called squatters rights,.. and with young kids and the baby sitter is pregnant in the house there is little she can do. When I heard all that,.. I laughed out loud and thought,.. wow,.. karma is a bitch.

i know about taking action for my on fault's. which i have. my drug charges from 3 year's ago was all my fault. i went and got help though. i went threw rehab and was doing everything they told me to do with my pre trail intervention. but the fleeing and attemting to alud was a bunch of bull. and yes i had a real lawyer but he was an ideot. but yes you get what you pay for and that's all i was able to get. i've spent about 10 grand over the last 3 year's dealing with all of this mess. and i have wanted nothing else but to be able to get my own life going. alot of my family does not like me anymore seeing that i was really the only one to get into a big mess like this and every one else was so "perfect". my lawyer did not try and pull any evidence and i was not able to get out of the charge. and seeing that i was suspended from P.T.I. they brought my charges back from when i was first aressted at the age of 17 for delivery and possesion of cocain. they droped the delivery charge and in return i had to plee guilty to the possesion which was a third degree felony and they reduced the fleeing and attempting to alude to reseting aresst with out violence which brought it to a ?mistamener?. both with held of ?ajudecation? and i have 12 month's of probation and 18 month's of probation. but they both do run together. so a year and a half is when i should be done. but yeah i try the best i can to take responcibility for my own action's.

I hate public pretenders. Now you have a felony charge on your record. Every time you apply for a job, you have to check the "yes" box where it asks if you've ever been convicted of a crime. Most employers look at that box and if it's checked, they throw the application away. They don't even look into the circumstances. The crappy part is, it'll stay on your record for the next 7 years. Every time someone does a criminal background check on you, it'll pop up. Sorry about that man....Should have had your lawyer (who no matter what they told you) works for YOU, not the state while he's defending you, renegotiate the plea bargan down to all misdemeanors.

Actually long as he stays clear of any charges during his probabtion he will be fine as the judge did not declare him guilty when he withheld adjudication . I am pretty sure that once he completes the probation period the only time he would have to check yes to the box is if it lists adjudication withheld as he was not found guilty of the crime.

Now if he gets the records expunged or sealed once he completes the probation period they will never be able to look it up and he has nothing to worry about.
