Are you an athiest or do you believe in God

It seems the last few years there have been more and more people bashing believers than I can remember ever before. I'm just curious how many on this site believe, compared and how many don't.

I'm not up for a debate, just the poll results. However debate away if you want and have fun.

Btw, the poll is private if you don't feel like being dragged into a debate.

< Neither, I don't know.

I spent a lot of my teenage years dwelling on this shit. Just to many things don't make sense to me. So many different religions out there which one is right? It seams every couple years someone makes something up to better fit their beliefs.

Would rather not waste my life and money on something that doesn't exist. "he her it" never gave me a reason it believe.

Well I was dragged to church all tha way through my teens too and yea it did ruin it for me i choose not to go but I pray daily. And its great to have ur own opinions it frustrates those of us (christians) when u get those crazy nut jobs that scream out "LOVE GOD OR GO TO HELL"!!! Well even though the church tells us that and I believe it I'm fine with people having their own beliefs and having their own opinion as long as they don't sit their and say I'm wrong for I believe when I respect them enough to let them have an opinion. Yea I believe in God and the bible. But Hypocricy(sp?) is one of the biggest problems with christianity and thats wat makes some people just not believe. But thats my .02. Sorry for tha long post

Josh

god is my buddy. i know i've done alot of bad things already but im paying for my mistakes. now i dont beleave in any "one" religion but i do study what i can. i dont pray as offten as i should but i have my own way of doing so. i had a broken church as a kid, they pissed me off and i started going to other kinds of churches. thats when i saw they all have the same "rules" for the most part so now i try to find out what they atleast all agree on.

i've never liked going to church. my mom used to drag me to a lutheran church when i was younger. it was so boring. and the things i would hear them preach about always seemed like common sense things to me, but they wrapped it all up in witty little stories to make it more appealing.

i guess i kinda feel like there are people who need religion and those who don't. the guiding principles are really nothing more than knowing right from wrong and having a good grasp of common courtesy and common sense.

whether you believe in God or not is something that is inside each person. to me, that seems to be the only thing that isn't right or wrong.
