Yep, just got back from the doctor. I thought the Viagra was stuck in the "ON" position. Turns out it was because of the '63 split window coupe that was beside me a good portion of the drive to work this morning. Good Gawd I've always wanted one of those. This one was really nice and sounded great. Had NY plates on it. I called a friend of mine who was a few cars back and asked if he would help me force the guy into the bushes so we could steal his car. He wimped out on me so the guy is still out there driving MY car around.

i'll see if I can find a pic of my dad's 64, black on black.. gorgeous car.. i've been "allowed" to drive it twice... those and the early 70s are my favorites..

here's a pic, not great.. but you get the idea...

Now here is the fun part. Last year of high school. 63 spit window behind the gas station. Guy pulls the motor and puts in in his 66 SS chevelle. Roller is sold for $1,500. True story.

i just couldn't do that to his car, maybe because it's his car.. but i like it the way it is.. i'd put some true knockoffs on it and some minor other items, but it would stay as it is..

short story, he had an "accident" in that car driving across the Howard Franklin, essentially the lugs came off of the right front, sent the wheel/drum up throught he fender.. lot of glass work to get it back to what it is.. not perfect.. but I about cried.. trooper that was at the scene could only say "damn"...and shake his head..

I think if my father has his way he'll be burried in that car.. they used to have a 92 vert, but no where near as sexy as this car..

Tony, once I get mine done we're going to plan a road trip or two, if we're in the area i'll give you a shout.. couple of years out though!
