do you slow down when you go over railroad tracks?
and i don't mean nasty ass bumpy suspension destroying railroad tracks... everyone slows down for them at least a little bit. i mean nice railroad tracks. not perfectly smooth, but pretty close. there is a guy that drives a stock looking 05-07 6-cylinder red mustang with a double white stripe that slows down from 60 to 35 going over the railroad tracks on mcmullen booth road just south of coachman. and i am talking during early morning and early afternoon commutes when traffic is moderately heavy but still flowing smoothly at an easy 60. for those who don't know this set of tracks, they're pretty ok. not perfectly smooth, but not bumpy either. i've seen this guy nearly cause several accidents because he thinks his car is too special to go over the tracks at speed. i am in traffic with this guy almost every day, morning and afternoon. it took me a few days to figure out it was even a guy! the first few times i saw him do it i mumbled to myself "stupid bitch is gonna cause an accident" lol i make sure i am never behind him, but one of these days he is going to get it right up the ass. /rant |

For a short while I drove a truck loaded with liquid chlorine. Law says you need to stop for tracks. My boss said dont get killed...keep moving. I agree with not causing an impediment to traffic flow.

Yea, that douche is probably the same one that blocks up the left lane on 275 doing 55 every afternoon on my way home...... When I crack and go nuts some day, it's gonna be because of some fucktard driver like that...... |

He probably doesn't want to spill his eighteen dollar Starbucks coffee. God Wendy you can be so selfish
With today's technology we can't make a full proof way to warn people if a train is coming? I think its ridiculous people still stop to "look" to see if a train is coming but yet people still get hit by trains with the gates down. |

^^^^ those tracks you HAVE to slow down on or it will tear up any car. I drive those as well as the ones on Orient rd and it has been decades since they have maitained those crossings. I drive a F-150 and I slow down for those

Umm...on a busy road where you could clearly see the train coming, NO! On these backroads near my house, yes.
Unless I already know it's coming, then I hurry to try to beat it there.
