Hello TR community, my name is Logan, I'm 18, and I work for my dad at Day's Collision Painting and Repair in Palm Harbor. My dad is an ASE Master Technician, my brother is an ASE Master Mechanic, though my dad can paint and do full mechanical too. I'm currently working in the shop doing mostly parts changing, some detailing, and some light mechanical (tires oil changes etc).

I graduated last year after my junior year and went to work for my old man part time (I've been working around the shop sweeping and stuff since I was 13) and decided I wanted to build a project car. I picked up a 1996 Acura Integra that someone had been working on. It had been painted Type R yellow, lowered on Coilovers and had some wheels I really liked. There was 191k on the body, and the motor was in pieces with a fresh B18B1 block that the previous owner was planning to build and turbo so that's my new project to keep me busy on weekends.

My coworker was telling me I should sign up here because you guys have good insight into the local car scene and I'd be able to find some good used parts for the building of the motor. So I look forward to getting to know all of you and sharing my progress on my Teggy.

BTW, Sunday/26 April some Tampa Racing.com car folks will be on the Courtney Campbell Causeway for a noon
food and photoshoot under the bridge close to where we would meet at night, then we are going to
Battle of the Bay, at 5100 Waters Ave. Classic Imports has about a zillion classes
that cover anything on wheels. lol Gonna be some good food at both meets.

I'm inviting you to both events, if you want to come out and put a few business cards under your wiper.
Maybe hang out and mention the shop a little. Put a name and face together, shoot some bull, etc.

Since you may not have gone to the Courtney Campbell Causeway in the early days of Tampa Racing.com ,
On the North side of the road on the Tampa side, at the traffic light is a boat ramp.

Go West past the boat ramp, u-turn under the bridge and that will take you to where the food and photo
meet is. Say hi to Diana. She is in charge.
