I am totally pleased with Kyle and Brents work. I only have issues with the crap bonnet that we have used. I will likely be switching to my old metal bonnet stretched the additional 4" sometime in the future unless I can get a good deal on a higher quality fiberglass bonnet.

I ought to have had my dash fabricated in house (as in by "Stinky"). The one I ordered don't fit right, the doors fell off it, and the mounting hardware was just wack.
The guys are making the best of it though. Minor delays on the finish date, but as usual they are really coming together to get it done right for me. Of the list of annoyances in this project, I have to say the first and best thing I did right was bring it to Ellis Autoworkz. Hell I think they will likely be reworking the next Mini I do that I won't even be doing an engine swap for. |

She is home, V-Tec is now engaging(it was not previously) I have the dash in, the bonnet sorted, and generally everything as per this project is done.
Issues still to be resolved: Ride height adjustment or suspension adjustment needed to stop left rear wheel from rubbing if I have a back seat passenger. Need replacement stereo speaker. Need to fix the headliner. Need to figure out exactly how to handle the glove box areas as the inside of them are not done. Have to order the correct speedo if it ever is in stock at Jeggs.

Thanks for the feedback.
Just have to thank Kyle and Bryant. She rides SMOOTH now, the bonnet now being sorted has made her real quiet. I love the work they did, and the body work they had done for me. These guys really stepped into a big mess with my Mini and came out doing a fantastic job. I highly recommend them for anyone looking to handle any motor swap. If you can get a new Honda motor to work in a 1976 Mini you can handle just about anything. I am sure there are other good Tampa shops, but for me this is the place to be. I sent them a project that most were too frightened to handle, and now I have a fabulous little Mini that runs like a bat out of hell. Hope to see you all soon.
