finishing a car and tuning a car is completely different. tuners, tune cars, not work on them.

as far as your comments about mafs in the past. all shops have issues and we've had our fair share, but to bring up somthing as stupid as a maf wiring problem just because someone else has had a completely different problem is pretty childish.

we allow complaints on our forum because we are honest, however ragging on us just because someone else is doesn't help the situation. people like you get threads deleted and ulitmatley make it harder for customers with problems to voice their opinions.
Sorry, I disagree. As stated tunning was never going to go through DC. A tune is THE most important aspect of a build. The tune can make everything happen all over again.

Enough on the tune as this is also not the point of this thread.

The reason why threads gets locked in the DC forum is if it gets out of hand. I think we are all responsible enough for this thread to stay open. I will delete only the unnecessary posts.

For the record, I have NOT gotten any messages from you (that don't say much if the messages are not passed to me), no e-mails, or other form of communication other then that post on the thread.
The one form of communication you did respond to was the forums. The thread in which I stated there was an obvious misunderstanding and you stated you would get back to me. Sorry, I'm not one of these kids that lives at home and has time to chase down something that is promised to me... especially on a professional public forum.

We should all grow up and take care of our responsibilities... agreed.

I think what Mike is trying to get at is the fact that we have hooked up and contracted a few excellent tuners. So, not having a dyno will not limit us, as there are many dynos in the area that we can sublet.

They are here to take care of problems that I can't, whether I have other things to take care off, or just out of the office.

I can ship it, you can send anyone you like, it's all not a problem for me. You, out of anyone, know the real story to a lot of things, calling me a lier kinda gets to me, when I've trusted you as a friend and let you know on things that I didn't need to.

All in all, you helped us to get into the Supra market, no doubt, can't complain. Thank you, you've also overlooked a lot of the learning curves we've had. Please also keep in mind that a lot of the problems were caused by the 'not a DC fan' person you speak off.
And myself...

This could have easily been handled privately with a simple PM with your first paragraph to the response in this thread.

The thread was the only form that was brought up to my attention. I am the same way, I use to be on TR quite a bit, but with business picking up and other personal reasons, I've had very little time to post. Not only on TR, but all other forums.

Understood. But there are four-five tuners that I would trust with my car at this time. I understand DC has tunning capabilities now, but tuning was never part of the deal.

Allow me to jog your memory... it would have taken less then a minute to send me a PM when you locked this:

That was me being professional, respectful and giving you the benefit of the doubt.

maybe to customers, tuning is the most important part, however as a builder all parts are important.

tuners take the glory and i'll give you that, but its not a huge concern in my mind. there are tons of capable tuners that will "finish" a car no problem. usually most people try to get the most compitent while trying to save money. obviously we like to build a relation ship with tuners and try to get the best bang for the buck, but when it comes down to it, if we have to pay more to get a good tune we will.

all of our cars are usually big, expensive builds and we don't pick tuners out of the air. most tuners we have a close relationship with and even before they touch a car they have proved themselves with experience, portfolios and hands on experience.

i'm not refering to brothers not being sub-par, in fact they know what they are doing.

the problem comes up when a contracted car goes to another shop.

while your car may have not been subject to us tuning it (which i wasn't aware of, my mistake), stating that another shop will do work is kind of a no-no in my book.
