lol. I am down.............

especially with teh vht

Mike is the fucking man as is everyone at DC. We ran into a small issue with the car and both felt it would be good to leave it to make sure everything was cool. Then mike drove me home at 6 in the morning. Home for me is in lakeland. He rocks and is indicitve of the type of employees DC has.

Its cool as hell to see John, Antonio, Danny, Ian , Mike, and the whole dysfunctional DC family out there at the dyno at 1 am.

Well, that's the question everyone has. Here's a hypercritical guess.

At 15psi the car produced 580ish, with the boost turned up to 17psi, the car then made 617whp (I think) and then with a little fine tuning, it made 629whp. So, if you take the difference between the two, on average the car made 25whp per psi. Given the different variables, let's say 15whp per psi, if we turned it up to 25psi, that's 8psi more. 8 X 15 = 120 + 629 = 749whp.

So, I would say it's safe to say that it WILL make 700whp, again, that's with minor adjustments to the setup.

Don't tell Mike, but when I found out about him taking you home this morning and with the knowledge of the terrible pile up on I-4, I was getting worried that he might have been involved. I guess I wasn't as lucky as I thought, because he's back at work now.

Thanks for the dysfunctional family comment! That's how we roll! But honestly, we do a lot of functions like this, I think it provides a great chance for everyone to just chill and hang out without all the added pressure that we have at the shop.

sweet spot on that turbo is about 28~30psi, so i'm hoping we'll be able to run that at some point. at that level i'm hoping for high 700's. i'm thinking we can break 700whp on these injectors, but i'm not sure if we are going to get any more then that. probably going to see 700whp on about 20psi.

probably going to try bumping the fuel pressure if we hit a wall. worse case senario the injectors will have to be bumped up.

other concern is the clutch and axles. clutch held fine, but its not rated for much more then when we are throwing at it. i decided to go with a single 6 puck with the extreme pressure plate from act, for street drivability. i wasn't expecting that much torque though, so the clutch will most likely have to be upgraded in the future.

all in all, the car ran great and suprised the hell out of me. most guys running these kinds of numbers are running about 5~10 more psi on the same turbo. got to love the dart motor

heres some more pictures and dyno sheets

12psi on pump gas

18 psi on c16. there is no torque because the picup wasn't install (forgot. it was late). it was breaking the tires every pass.
