these are clearly mig welds on the JIC majics piping and your compairing them to tig welds ***************(Here are a few more updates. Take a look at JIC Majic's welding on the y-pipe, not the greatest especially considering they are machines welds)
just so you know apples to oranges but nice build . jay did a good job

what are you talking about? jay didn't weld any piping besides the mid pipe on that car. we don't have a mig thats aluminum and everything is hand welded.

some of the welds on the intercooler piping were done hot and sloppy because they were going to get grinded off.

that was the one part that jay did weld (if your refering to the ss tig on the midpipe). turned out great.

sorry, you post was sort of confusing. there is a y-pipe in the intercooler piping as well.
