Driven Concepts 1000hp Supra Project

Some how / some way the original thread was deleted. Let's start this again.

Driven Concepts is very happy and proud to have the oppertunity to work on a project of this caliber. We will be updating this thread with information and photos as often as we can.

This Supra will not only be able to put out some serious power, but will also have show quality presentation. The owner is an active member of TR, therefore I will leave it up to him to post up his expectations of this vehicle.

This is one of those projects where not a single expense has been spared and it will not stop here.

Motor = the best
Parts = the best
Paint = the best
etc... = the best

Here are some recent pictures.....

My wife and I own this car. We are excited about having Driven Concepts put this together for us. We started this prokect with fixing the engine bay from the ground up. You can see EVERYTHING is out.

The new motor is fully built with a lightly built head.

We will work our way up to 4 digit HP #'s with the help and assistance of Driven Concepts.

We will make this a show quality piece how much detail???

Well, DC even sent our A/C lines to get powder coated since they and I wern't happy with how clean 13 year old lines can get.

Chrome? Yep, polishing is nice, but keeping it clean in a car built by DC to be daily driven it's not acceptable, so EVERYTHING will eventually be chromed.

I will post full specs later on.

Yeah, I don't think the civic will keep up anymore, so I might have to make some changes... Can't have the wife's car being faster then mine, now can we?

Parts...

So in this post I'll keep a list of parts going into the car. Including all the misc crap like my license plate bolts... ahhh yeah.

So you know some part's DC is putting in the car... If it's on this list, it's either here or it's been ordered.

The car is a '94 6 spd

AEM
Defi 60mm gauges
HKS Type R Intercooler
Liter injectors
PT67 and PT76GTS... Two turbos, one for street, one for Dyno / Track
Twin HKS SSQV BOV's
RPS Big Torque exhaust manifold (modified to take the Tial 60)
Tial 60mm WG

VW Intake *edit... We have an SP and VW right now. the SP is already at the chromers since the VW was taking so long. Now that the VW came in, we'll have to figure out if we are going to use it.

Engine Specs:
2JZGTE - 0 Miles
JE pistons @ .020 over
Eagle Rods w/ A2000 Bolts
ARP Main Studs
ARP Under cut head studs
OE MLS Headgasket
Mildly ported head w/ 5-angle valve job, Crower Valvesprings and Titanium Retainers
3 Sets of Cams (dyno tunning will decide how big we have to go...)
TRD Thermostat
Unorthadox Pulley Set
Titan Fuel Rail
Twin intake OE pumps with AN lines

Carbon Fiber Door Panels..

TRD diff on order (waiting on the jap's for shipping) Not sure when we'll get to install this.
TRD Black/Black Steering wheel.

JDM Carbon Steering wheel.

Yep, two steering wheels, that way I can give one to any passengers that want to drive... so really, How do you decide which one you like better? Get both.

TRD shift knob (I have a B&M one as well)

TRD Fuel cap both new and old versions (Same concept as the steering wheels)...

TRD Tach and Speedo (320 km/h) on order - (waiting on jap's to ship)

TRD license plate bolts... awww yeah

Clear side markers on order.
Oil dipstick...

HKS Tripple disk Clutch *Got a deal on a Titon Tripple I could not refuse. We will most likey be installing it. The Tripple will sit around until we've got the tilton on and then it's off to ebay.

Are you going for 1000whp or just at the crank? I'm curious to see if you are wanting to break the 1kwhp mark are you going to spray it at all to get into the 4 digit mark?
