For those who know, my DD just spun a rod bearing.
To keep up with the rest of the DC cars I am going to rebuild my KA and add the T. Goals: low boost= 300bhp high boost= prolly not? all nissan oem bearings and rings stock crank, rod, and pistons port and polished head with 3 angle valve job pdm stage 2 cams s14 intake manifold with port matching (no secondary butterflies) custom turbo manifold turbonetics TDO4E hopefully this will be a fun daily driver that i can just beat the piss out of Last edited by hondasux : 01-15-2007 at 09:56 AM. |

hopefully not long at all. it is soooo nice to work at a shop because you learn sooo much and at the same time have fun. i am doing this right the first time around. all measurements taken will be done at least 3 times. all oil clearances will be exact. theres someone on kat.org making 500+ so i dont see why i couldnt do the same.
im thinking about getting everything cryotreated. right now just my rotating assembly cause thats all i could afford. thats really whats taking the longest. that and nissan dont stock shit for shit so whatever i order takes 3-5 days to come in. im thinking about 2-3 weeks for NA driving and in 1- 1.5 monthes i should be able to boost it |

fortunately we have kirk here who has done rom tune before. on top of that jay has done rom tune as well. timing will be retarded according to boost levels which i will decide once everything is put together. since this is going to be MY daily driver and i dont trust my luck for nothing i will probably invest in water/methanol injection.
