Bahh, Am I Getting Ripped Off??!?

First off, my boy Vimal (black S13 SR20 coupe) told me to call you up and ask ya.. Nobody picked up? lol

I just bought my 240, only to find out that I got royally ripped the fuck off.. I kid you not, everyday something new fucks up.. My biggest problem is overheating.. Also a bad wheel bearing and bad PS hose..

I took it to the closest shop by a recommendation from another friend who previously owned a 240 (DuyBoy), and they want to charge me approx. $500 to swap in a single PS line (the topmost one, with the metal donut on the end), and to replace the bypass radiator hose (which is I guess the one that's leaking).

Seems a little bit high for a high-pressure hose and a rubber radi hose.. I mean, what is that, 2hrs tops?

DC.. PLLEASSEE CALL ME TODAAAYY!! lol Just give me an estimate, even if it's higher. Hell, I'd probably rather have you work on it than this j-brone at 'Village Repairs' or whatever the hell it's called.

Josh - 813-244-8140
Thanks!

The bypass radiator hose? Are you refering to the lower or upper hose that's leaking?

As for the power steering line, it's the high pressure line that you will need. The high pressure line runs around $95.99 + about 30 minutes of labor and PS fluid.

Someone will call you and let you know the details. Thank you very much for the interest.

Thanks for the speedy response. As for the hose, sorry for the typo, I was half paying attention. It's just a cooling line hose, not an ACTUAL radiator hose lol

I have NO clue which one it exactly is, but from what he said, he feels that if he took the top radi hose off, he would have enough room to replace it. He said he could replace it without taking off the IM, but it would be difficult..

Oh yea, and I need to get my MR springs put on, this bitch is ridin' like a Jeep and I got no air tools.. As we all know, manual spring compressors suck balls lol. How mucho?

Alright I'm about to head out and get the car today, however I don't think I'll have time to drop it off (have work). It'll be by first thing in the morning.

Appreciate it, guys!
