good and bads about 240's??????

lets just get this right i'm not your usual guy who buys a 240 so he can call himself a drifter cuz i'm not a drifter i have drifted but it was in an s10.
now i just got my first 240 it's a 89 hatch shell right now but i kinda wanna do an sr swap in it but i wanna know what the best of the best is,what to do, what not to do basicly the goods and bad.that even means the ka's

ka-t!!! thats what i am doing...easy as peas! just bolt in that dohc, and get yourself and manifold conversion for just over a hundred bucks...then you can get yourself a turbo...you can even use the t28 off the s14 sr with that manifold!!! more liters and bigger pistons for around the same in cost...(t28 kit around 1100 bucks) just my 2 cents...good luck!

my 2 cents would be, if you were to drive ka-t your car, if you buy a dohc. dont just swap it in. i honestly wouldnt turbo a ka with thousands of miles on it. i would maybe fully rebuild it, and maybe bore it 20 or 30 over to handle bigger pistons and more boost, or not do it at all. just my .02

ka is a fun motor!
doesnt need to be turbo'd.
if you get a good one, and keep up with oil and coolant, little stuff!
woooo hoooo, you can beat it left and right,
and if anything ever did go wrong with it, just spend around 350, and get another one!
thats what ive learned anyway.

edit: o ya get an after market clutch to!

i'm not going to build a ka-t. if i put a ka in it will be n.a. shure it sounds fun to build a ka-t but there not made to boost, i plan on saving up for a sr swap but i basicly just wanna know if a ka is reliable enough to be a dd,.......i do have a 280z inline 6 turbo motor i'm thinking about swapping in it 2

the 240 is a all around perfect car for drag, drift, or autocross. a perfect car for any motorsport there is. i hate the fact that it is stereotyped as a drift car only.

swap in a 1jz.... be smart.....

if your gonna go with a nissan 4 banger save yourself the money and buy a ca18 unless your serious about autox.
