Thumbs up Mid-Ohio US Drif ationals TANDEM results ** Update> video

video soon of all my tandem... all the way to 3rd place baby. First time in tandem and was one of the lowest powered cars in tandem as you'll notice... I couldn't stick to the bumpers but I had some strange calls made... for instance....

top 16- 2nd run guy spins and i go off track cuz he was gonna be in my way... one more time

top 8- mustang spins, i drop my front in the dirt around final clip...
one more time

top 4- we both go 4 wheelin on the third turn on our own lead runs, one more time (i end up dirt dropping again and losing)

3/4th- i killed it and no one more time.... at last!

but from 2nd qualifier and placing 3rd im SUPER INCREDIBLY STOKED and had a awesome time with everyone here. All the drivers were awesome and I met a lot of cool people. I now move on to the next event in Nevada- a little outside of VEGAS 2nd week of november, I just gotta get there >.<

Here it is, tandem. I have some gaps entering first turn, everyone was going a little faster and dragging ebrake, I was clutch kicking it all the way. I ended up same speed or faster in the turn but cost me ground leading up to it. This was the first tandem I've ever really done and was outrageuosly fun. I thought I would be scared as hell but I had no fear when I was out there (cept run 2 I locked brakes when I saw Vosko lose it). Anyone that hasn't done tandem, just drive the course and let the battle take care of itself. The one time I got caught up in trying to go faster than the other guy, I lost (off track)... enjoy

Video - Jason Jiovani ripping up Mid-Ohio race track during the US Drift Nationals Finals. Tandem battles. This was my first competition and first tandem runs. Overall 2nd place qualifier and ended up in 3rd after tandem.
