Formula D - NJ
Bill and the XAT Racing Bandit made another Top 16 this weekend in Formula D round - 6 NJ.
Awesome job overcoming some last minute tuning and transportation issues. Huge thanks to MikeSpeed for helping us get the car to NJ and putting up with Bill for that long. |

damn the mustang just looks so big next to the 240 haha, it looks like it would swallow it whole. glad to see Bill making it into another top 16 this year. Too bad about your troubles, i think you could had a decent shot of beating JR... gotta try to brake check him into a mistake

you should know this because i remember watching the camino slow mid turn of entry into Houston last season and caused havoc... there is also the issue that you have less inertia and can slow down faster than him so you should have the op to brake check him if he is close enough, otherwise, yes his trq will screw up your attempt. there is always a weakness |

ok then i guess everyone with under 500hp and such should just stop trying? heh. Plenty of times ive seen people get brake checked in FD and they spin, the other guy then moves on to next round. If you purposely slam the brakes no shit they gonna say bs, but there are other ways.
I was also talking about when you LED in the camino, not followed. The car was just sometimes slowing down, not because of you, because the car was, and the people following you got messed up having to compensate when catching you. as far as the skill level, its not a matter of being skilled man. I'm not talking about someone hitting the brake and spinning thats different. I'm talking about a guy not PLANNING on it and then all of a sudden he needs to slow down it *COULD* mess him up. Not like 100% but could help sometimes. I'm not talking about cheating either. I'm talking about running a line/speed that the other guy cannot match and messes up- therefore you are the better driver that round. Everyone still spins even in solo runs. I've seen all the 'top' drivers loose it here and there so to say that hitting a little brake and if you spin you aren't going to make the next round thats just dumb, everyone spins here and there. Basically, slamming the brake- yes its gay and is not what i am talking about doing. Judges are supposed to take into account the difference in car anyhow right? So this whole thing doesn't really matter however, the judges you seem so confident in figuring this all out- they have bias, whether they try to or not, they will unknowningly favor a car or driver (just a little) in 95% of the cases. The other guy might still win but odds are against it. So I say anything I can do in my car and with my car control, should be in my weapon arsenal. or would we all rather FD be split into HP categories? thats gay. |

ok dude, im not trying to be a dick but ill be blunt.
you watch it on tv, and think to much. to everyone that is actually out there that knows how it works im telling you, judges wont let that shit slide 1/2 the time, and anyone doing the shady crap your talking about will get docked points, and take shit for it from every other driver. love mikespeed |
