Default e-brake no locking?

I try to keep using the E-barke down to the minium sort of a last case senario, but for some reason my ebrake doesnt lock the tires, unless its like wet. I would like to use it when I have to but its not working. I already adjusted it pretty tight in the cabin, with the 10mm nut. I dont know where else it could be loosing strength to not work. thanks for the help.

its not an ebrake. its a parking brake. they arent supposed to lock. they are only designed to hold your car still on a slight incline.

however if you wish to lock it up the pull the parking brake and simply tap the brakes and it will lock the tires just like that without doing a whole lot to the front brakes .

isnt it fun learning something from a former ass dragger.

the ebrake pulls the calipers and the very same pads that do the normal braking on the 240sx.

it's not two separate assemblies like on a z32.

so i don't really know what you're trying to say by that. whether a cable is pulling it or a hydraulic piston is pushing it, it's the same brake.

Go to the gym and work out on the e-brake machine?

what im trying to say is you pull the ebrake. it doesnt lock up. so you lightly tap the breaks cause thats all thats needed to lock the rears up since the ebrake is already applied. speak to taka about this. he taught me that.

You need to pull the e brake harder and faster, Nancy!
