Cable E-Brake to Hydraulic Conversion?

Im planning to use a KSport hydraulic e-brake on my drift car but it came with the stock cable e-brake.

Has anyone done a conversion like this before, please give me the info..

Thanks

What are you trying to do? Install a Ksport Ebrake?

KSport is what i had in mind but it doesnt matter what kind of hydraulic e-brake it is..

i just want to know what i need to do to have a hydraulic e-brake, but the car comes with a cable e-brake.. cable to hydraulic?? possible.. yes - practical???

what the hell do you need hydraulic for, cable is just fine and does the job, unless your going to fd or d1 or nopi maybe but cable is just fine, imo

Im going to remount the ebrake lever so i was wonderig to switch it to hydraulic for les linkage.. i gues ill stay with the cable and reweld the center console for the ebrake lever.

besides, itll look sicker with new linkage fabrication..

There is less involved with a cable ebrake than there is with a hydraulic for damn sure. The Ksport is OK but forget about a center console and have fun with that installation and bleeding. I've used a modified stock Ebrake lever and made my own with inline master cylinder and everything fitting under the center console. Unless you know it's there you would never have any idea:

Realistically, I'd say that I could build you one for $450 installed, or you could buy the components for $250ish and figure it out for yourself.

Where/why are you remounting the ebrake? Staging style?

im mounting it onthe right side of the shifter, just a little below.. refabricated lever going straight up.. kinda like in that pic only mounted straight up and in more comfortable place..

the E36 center console is very skiny so ill weld a bracket for it.. cant really explain, once im done ill get some pics.. i just need a best way to extend the ebrake cable..

thank you for ur offer tho..

if you screw it up = no foot brake until you fix it, since you run it into the main brake lines. GL, i like my cable

Interesting, does this just tap into the stock rear brake line with a "T" fitting?
