El drifto helpo needed!

Ok welll I am starting to get into drifting and would like some advise, like most TR people I am broke lol in the process of getting a new job from moving for school etc. BUT ANYWAYS...

I have a 89 240 hatch and wanna set it up for drifting..

some specs

car is slammed on cut springs in the front and ghetto eibac coilover half things in the front LOL

open diff

don't worry about the motor it has enough power.

***
So first I am thinking dont waste my money on garbage springs or shit and just get some like k sport coilovers? (cheap and I have no money lol)

welding the diff (once again it's cheap and I have no money) lol

any other ideas pointers, suggestions for coilovers etc. PLEASE LMK asap. Might be going to Desoto on Sunday I dunno, if I do don't laugh lol.

Welded diff
coilovers

and practice honestly lol thats all u should need until you get good

and you dont really need coilovers if your getting started
lowering springs will do fine. but coilovers will help lots.

Thanks alot, yea this open diff crap is getting annoying lol

but I dunno I figure why waste that money on lowering springs when I am gonna upgrade later anyways than that money I spent on the lower springs will be a waste lol. So I dunno we sall see.

After you get the welded diff and coils Go with cheap subframe bushing collars, inner tie rods w/ends, rear upper arms. werd thatd be a good start I think..

tein basics or ok. i heard better things about ksports. cut springs might be good for now, but the object is it disable body roll. by doing that, get coilovers and slam it on its nuts lol

arent you rolling on the RB20?

k-sports are really crappy in my opinion. if you want something cheap but that performs well i say either get some meagan's or some of the badger-werks coilovers. in my opinion not only do they ride a whole lot better, but perform better than k-sports. if you can still get those JIC's for cheap, they surpass all of the 3 named above. are they JIC's fltaII's? only downside about them tho is if you have to get them rebuilt.
