thanx for the info... another question everytime i brake hard i hear like a slamming sound in the back i was told it meant that the bushing were bad can someone confirm that and if so what is the price that i am looking at to change all 4 bushings thanx.

for real beginner. decent shocks and spring set up. this shouldn't cost you anymore than like $500\600.
and if u decide to spend a little more. go with coilovers. but coilovers i repeat, are NOT necesary. just ask yourself. are you really thinking of going pro? or doing lots of events? that's the question u should be asking to yourself, not really what is the best set up. your set up depends on your goals. |

First suspension upgrades should be:
Tie Rod Boots (they'll be cracked) Subframe spacers (Megans are good and cheap, stock bushings will be shot) TC rods (stock ones will be leaky) Stock shocks and springs are plenty for a beginner. When you get to the point where body roll is scrubbing off speed you need to hold your line, upgrade to a used street coilover setup (shock and spring aren't worth the money when coilovers are only a little more and much better) FYI, the only things you need for a solid drift car are: 1 - Good working stock equipment 2 - Racing seat 3 - Coilovers 4 - LSD |
