No, because there are too many people like your car running. All the fast cars are gone from waiting 45 min. in line with 17+ second cars...

hehe

Atleast this Escort can run a mid 15, not impressive but not bad for a Scort with minor bolt ons.

Ryan man whats with all the hatred man.

I'll be out there with a couple Contour SVT's and a focus. Nothing else better to do for $8.

The hatred is from all the rash of 18-20 second wanna-be's that have taken over 1320. It's sick when 15 and 16 seconds looks fast because of all the other cars running so slow.

Basically anyone faster than 14.0 hardly goes anymore because they don't want to wait in an hour line to run down the track. It just gets REALLY OLD. And the sad thing is, all these kids are serious about running. Bone stock automatic cars sitting there with hoods popped, pushing the cars, doing extended burnouts on street radials, not knowing how to stage, etc. It just blatantly shows that none of those people have any business on the track.

I'm going and don't worry about those guys. You paid your money just like they did............If they want someone to complain about they should talk to the guys that go in front of us. I saw that Black wagon run like 12 times last month. Not everyone can start off in the 14-12 sec range.

its true in some parts, but its also a learning experience for alot of these guys that are running slower. I say this because alot of them race on the street and when you smoke them by one or two or three or four car lengths they will always say " oh you didnt smoke me by much" meanwhile as a true racer you know that even two car lengths could be as good as a two second difference in the quarter. so those of you that are racing and running slow times to shave two seconds off your is going to take tons of money or a huge shot of nos. which it may not even be worth it.
SO KEEP HAVING FUN BUT DONT SLOW US DOWN

LOL! Chismoe, you're a true domestic driver at heart. The light is dawning and slowly becoming brighter. Now if we could just get you out of that TT fartbox your transition to the darkside will be complete. As for slow cars clogging the track, the problem lies in human nature. The terms "fast" and "slow" are very relative. Everybody considers anyone they can beat as slow and anyone who can beat them as fast. So, it's always a source of good humor when you read kill stories from someone who is slower than you are. It's hard to remember though that no matter how fast you are, someone, somewhere is laughing at your kill stories.

And...RUFASTR95, just how long IS your car if 2 car lengths = 2 seconds in the quarter? You'd have to be pushing your car down the track for that to be the case.

Hehe

I say let them run. You know sooner or later either they will learn to make there car faster or give up.

Hell look at chismoe, He had a Mid 15 Second Celica, graduated to a beautiful 13 second or quicker? Clipse GSX and now its almost time for him to graduate again to a Stang I'm guessing of some sort. One way or another everyone grows up. Race on!!

i think you understood my point. obviously i was being sarcastic. i do own a dsm, so going slow will not be an issue for me. i have been racing dsm`s now for atleast 10 years on and off, so slow has really never been a topic for me. again i am being sarcastic and COCKY. LOL
