Mafia Motorsports Real Street @ Sunshine Heads Up Madness 5-3-2008
It is official!!! Real Street will run for the first time @ Sunshine Heads Up Madness on 5-3-2008 The class is Sponsored By Karl Flammer Ford, Real Speed Racing, TRANS-R-US, RMP Exhaust, The one and only Billybob, and myself so far! Over $1,000 in the pot at this point and I have several other sponsors not yet confirmed. Tech card is only $50 and the rules will be based on what is posted on Mafia-Motorsports.com Our objective is not to take cars from 6.50 and Stock Suspension but to grow the over all car count. So there might be a few adjustments in order to get the car count up and hopefully with non participating cars. Like myself. I also hope it will help grow the class in Immakolee, and thanks to everyone that has invested so much effort in getting the class rolling! If you have any qustions feel free to email me at Hrspwr13@aol.com Spread the word!

For the Sunshine Real Street Races.. Big blocks can use single stage/spray bar plate with 1 single NOS brand power shot nitrous solenoid. Any fuel solenoid is allowed. Weight is 3400#, any 275 drag radial, and conventional cylinder heads only. Hopefully this will help get the car count were we need it to be.

Future at Sunshine
I was talking to one of the Sunshine track owners (Todd) last Friday night and he's trying to put together more heads up races to bring the spectators in. They are talking about a new heads up 5.30 dragster class (that I would run) on a Pro tree and a 5.70 heads up class that they are still trying to formulate. Both would not allow throttle stops. They were talking about running the Pro Mods, 10.5s and Stock Suspension guys at one race and the other group at a separate race. Todd wanted to get a couple races put together this year and make it a series of races next year. It sure got me worked up as I love Pro tree racing.

The race is this weekend. How many of you guys are going to come out and run the class? I was at Sunshine tonight and there were quite a few guys testing for Saturday night. From what I saw, everybody better bring their "A" game. Heard they are expecting around 20-25 cars and the purse is up close to $2000. The weather looks like it is going to be great. Should be a good night all around.
