World Record Broken - Titan Motorsports does it again!!!

World Record Broken - Titan Motorsports does it again!!!
Is there more, yes there is! We couldn't get more ET because it started raining, called it a day. For the news, our flagship Titan Motorsports Toyota Supra took the WORLD RECORD today with a 7.71 @ 185

Here is the HD footage, please save to hard drive before viewing
http://www.highboost.com/videos/supra771-03142008.wmv

This was a total last minute affair, Wed night I called Gary and Brett and said lets run this weekend and go test the Supra, they said "we're in". The track wasn't available anywhere this weekend, but private rental was available on Friday, "Book It". So we got the car's loaded and went to the track.

Darin was going for the 6-speed record and went 8.71 @ 169 on his first shakedown pass before it rained and then we couldn't make anymore passes.

Its been since December that we ran the car, time flies it seems. We had the tough decision to make the last 3-months, should we install wheelie bars, put a back-half 13" tire on the car, gut the factory glass out of it and put in lexan, install an intercooler that you can't drive down he street in, NO this is a real street car, so we left the car with its original Supra integrity.

1.24 60'
3.35 330'
5.05 1/8th
145 1/8th mph
6.50 1000'
7.71 @ 185.33

We had a partial pass that showed more promise before.
1.222 60'
3.320 330'
We sent these ET's to our physicists back at the shop, they consulted with the statisticians and felt that there is a high probability of mid 7.6's with the same type of pass on boost with nitrous only on the leave.
