Need Help!

I am, unfortunately, currently in possession of a 1997 Chrysler Sebring JXi (with the V6 engine) convertable that won't start. I know the part that I need (crank shaft positioning sensor). My question is, does anyone have, or know where I can find, a really good diagram so that my boyfriend and his friends can install this part. The shop wants to charge me $200 to fix my car - and the part only costs $60 - and I'm TOTALLY broke. If you can help me I would REALLY appreciate it. The sooner, the better. I've been without my car for a month now. Thanks.

If you are friends with someone who works in the parts department ask them if you can see the service manual. I have never worked on a V6. But on the v8's and 4 bangers the crank position sensor is on the the back of the engine next to the flex plate. I would assume it would be the same on the V6

No friends at Chrysler, but thank you very much for your response.

all i can say is to get one from dodge. I have a 99 sebring FSM, but not 97. I dont play with cars that new very often.. the only CPS i've seen is on the Spirit R/Ts.. and that just bolts on with like a 10mm to the bellhousing. On the 3.9 and 5.2 it just bolts to the block with 2 allen bolts. Shouldnt be too hard to change if you can get to it.
