help please

alright i have a 95 chrysler sebring hard top with the 2.0 dohc automatic tranny and all the bells and whistles. my problem is i cant figure out what is wrong with my damn car. when im driving the motor will shake and then it gets stuck in 1st gear or it wont engage at all. but, if i throw it in neutral real fast shut the car off and resart it the tranny will shift perfect for a lil while and the do it again. second off the car stalls all the time i replaced my fuel filter and cleaned my fuel injectors and i just cant figure out what the damn problem is. i would love to have my car running right because it is beautiful and confertable but i just can't figure it out someone please help me.

it looks like you might have trans problemsbecause the shacking only happends when the car is moving if the motor is missing it will do it when you are at idle.

More than likely it's gonna be the solenoid pack. The TCM's on h/t sebrings did'nt fail nearly as much as the sol. packs. If its seaping fluid or looks like the original, I would see about replacing it.

word of advice those cars were notorious for cooking the wiring on the cam sensor on the back of the head and the crank sensor running directly underneath the exhaust manifold. pull some of the wiring sleeves back and see what you've got. Suprising enough lots of times they will only store a code, and never turn the MIL on, its free and ive seen it a hundred times, and been burnt with it once.
