msd and safc question

safc question
im installing a safc right now following the how to from the archives ( Super AFC install How ). for the ground there are 2 wires, the how to says one must be 1" before the other my question is do both the black and brown wire both get spliced into pin 10 (ground)? with one behind the other?

i also have a pink and an orange wire not connected to anything, these are not mentioned in the how-to. one has a connector on it which means it was used while previously installed (i bought it used)

and one more Q? on srt forums i saw they had an how-to with seemingle more complicated way to install with a tach driver. my car has a digital disc-2 but i dont have a tach driver, should i get one and if i do would i have to wire the tach wire into the tach driver?

basically have the entire thing installed, do i need a tach driver? also on the left side of the unit there is a brown(ignition interrupt (to ground) and blue wire (two step(to ground) whatdo these go to? I also have no radio is the radio fuse a strong enough power source for the computer? thanks for any help
