ok well yesterday on the way to work i was slowing down to stop at a light and i put in it nuetrel(s/p) and then i went to put it back in gear and there was no gears, so i went to the side of the road and had it towed to Brandon Transmition and im going to see wats wrong.

ok well i heard from them today and its the shifter linkage and cables and its gunna cost me 400 bucks then its going to another guy to put the TPS, brakes and check all the vacuum lines and anything else that needs done

best bet do it yourself and its pretty easy if im correct the tps is 2 bolts also and only thing you should get checked is the vacum lines if ya wanna be lazy and have another guy do it and itll cost you 1/4 the price for what your gunna spend gettin that shit done i know because i work at advance and know the prices like the brakes 20 buck for front and it im right 15-25 for rear drum brakes plus 5 for core till you bring back yours or if you got rear discs then 20 bucks no core the clutch cable will cost you 40 plus tax im guessing but most likely you got a dohc? and the tps is 66 for sohc and 78 for dohc hope that helps and if autozone has cheaper and of the same qulity advance will price match

^well i got the hook up so ill jus let him do it, its gunna cost me about 1/2 as much as it would if i took it sumwhere else do to it.
and i dont really have time to do it myself, i work alot during the day and i got lucky i got to come home early today |

damn man dont pay that shit. you have the tranny, the bushings, the arms and the bushings at the shifter. no just for a comparison today my tranny blew apart inside again, i just swapped in a JY 50 dollar tranny. for the 3rd time in 6 months. its all cake and easy and cheap just read and ask questions and we can walk you through it.

i DONT HAVE TIME TO DO THE WORK MYSELF OR I WOULD TRY, I WORK WAYYY TO MUCH AND TO HARD AND TO COME HOME AND KEEP WORKING WHEN I WORK AT LEAST 10 HRS A DAY OF HARD LABOR, if i get ripped off then ok w/e i can NOT do it right now and thats the end of it.
