stock mtx TB size is 49mm, stock atx TB size is 52mm, being turbo, a TB isnt the first place to look for gains though...considering there is no real point unless you already have 2.5" I/C piping...and if you do have that size I/piping theres still no point in going over 60mm(which is what I am currently using myself, a jeep 60mm TB)

the only thing that helps with gas mileage is a lighter foot. A larger TB allows more air in which needs more fuel and that'll lower your mileage. That said, I use a MPx 60mm on a custom manifold with my turbo setup and plan to keep it that way though I could go larger since the mounting surface is flat but there would be no point unless increasing the IC pipe diameter.

you want to increase gas mileage?
I know it may sound like bs, but this shit works. Its a fuel system treatment developed by chrysler, and it involves cleaning and brushing the tb and intake mani, running a fuel line to your fuel rail, disconnecting ur fuel pump so it runs only on the chemicals, and a treatment that goes in your gas tank. The shit kicks ass, i use it in my car. |

If you have a 49mm throttle body on your car now (most likely), you can go to the junkyard and pull a throttle body off any 95-99 automatic Neon and put it on yours. It's 3mm bigger (52mm) and most yards only charge you like $20, you can also find them on eBay pretty easily. There are also 55mm boring services available. In my opinion bigger is better, so I'd recomend a 60mm throttle body from Modern Performance as always you can find them on eBay cheaper sometimes. As for a an underdrive pulley (UDP), there are alot of companies out there making them. If you're running no a/c or p/s, Unorthodox makes a race only pulley that only has a spline for the alternater belt. MPX, Megan, AFX, Unorthodox all make UDP's for Neons and you can also find knock-off brands on eBay for around $30 that work just as good. I'm currently using a Megan racing, which may not be the best, but for the price I couldn't beat it. MAKE SURE TO USE A CHRYSLER PULLEY REMOVER WHEN YOU TAKE THE STOCK PULLEY OFF!!!! If you dont you either wont get the stock one off or you'll break the pulley remover. Most of us have found this out the hard way haha.

not true, I use a 3 jaw puller from autozone...but there are 2 sizes, you need the larger one...the smaller one the threads strip out too easy on...oh and the best trick to pulling the stock crank pulley is take out the crank bolt and just put a head bolt(if you have one, if not, then one of similar length) in the hole to push against with the puller...since the stock crank bolt is too short and the tranny mount bolt puts too much pressure on the last few threads when you use it(possibly damaging them)...its better to use one of a smaller thread that will just bottom out in the crank instead
