Ask Tim with the turbo'd PT a million questions, and then ask him to show you the 20 minute head gasket trick about 5 minutes after you turn the boost up, hehe.

Intercooler it. Turn the boost up. Get a little shot of nitrous. get slicks. Take some weight out, and it should be capable of 12's.

Easy to work on ? Yea... maybe the spart plugs... EVERYONE OF THESE CARS IN THE BONE YARD HAVE THE TURBO STILL ON IT, why ? IT A FUCKING NIGHTMARE TO GET TO.

Fun cars though. VERY STRONG bottom-end. Cylinder head flow is right up there with the best head designs EVER, like the ford 2.3 and ford 5.0

Here's a crude example that i ran in my Shadow.

Remove some weight, intercool it, drop in a set of 52lb injectors(or 2 cold start injectors running off hobb switches), a diode to fool the map, a set of slicks, switch over to a stock Garrett turbo as the Mitsu is very small, crank up the boost to 22-25 psi(watch for detonation)
And you will run 12's if the clutch holds up my 2.2 liter Shadow ran in many TR events, ran 12's with the 5 speed since my auto tranny blew up, if i still had the auto i would have been knocking on 11's

And listen to this guy. Not sure if you ever saw Jordon's GLH-T omni ( the guy that hangs with Sal and owns a 1.8T VW ), but flynby2.2 built it. That car is now in the northern states. It was pretty quick.
Check here to see the GLH-T omni and the stckness monster with the sticker still in it.

I'd bring her out to publix tonight. Tim will be there.
Your find that motor came in almost EVERYTHING dodge built between 85'-93'.
