cam gears

need to know what direction the gears go on to the cam's and if there is a exhaust gear and intake gear or are they the same.
does the small pin go to the top or bottom?

put gear on. look at timing marks on gear. take gear off, put it on other way. compare where the timing marks on.
they *should* be the same no matter which way you put them on, correct? i remember my AEM's not mattering which way i put them on.
