thats the charcoal canister...emmisions equipment..I just ripped mine and all its associated lines out, but it might cause a CEL if you do so....since I would throw about 20 CELs if I still had the stock computer one more doesnt bother me...as it is I have no computer to throw CELs though...the only stock computer feature I am currently working on getting operational with MS is the OBDII port...I want a dummy port for emmissions pourposes if I ever live anywhere where its required

if you get a megasquirt you dont need a AFX or MP, since you can raise the rev limiter and advance your timing with MS, keep the stock computer as a backup, and no to answer your question, none of those are vacuum lines...I have no idea where the ones by the frame rail go...I never ripped them out entirely...at least not yet...I just pulled the canister itself because I was under there one day and trying to relocate my battery under the fender(which I did for awhile btw, but got tired of having to pull the bumper if I needed to disconnect it, its now in my trunk)

I always get my MS stuff(pre assembled) from RS-autosport.com since he is a neon specific vendor...I belive the cost of a full kit is around $400 or so these days, was $320 shipped when i first got mine, I'll soon be upgrading to MS2 anyway though, I suppose I could always sell you my old MS...but its setup for EDIS4 right now...not the neon code since I run the NGC SRT4, the neon code wont work with 03 up engines, but it would only cost you $40+shipping to send it to RS-Autosport to have them switch it back...or if you are good with electronics you could do it yourself
