nice...just out of curiosity though, if you were going to all the trouble of a motor build...why didnt you go turbo? NA I dont see it reaching more than 200HP(without nitrous)...dont get me wrong, 200 HP in a 2200lb car is pretty fun, just curious though

cause i have a gst and wanted a fast na car......i have a guys web site....this website shows what he has and what he has dynoed and pitfalls and things. before his set up was completed he dynoed 202whp. and still had many changes to make. im gonna go 75-100 shot when i install the megasquirt. this car is gonna be quick. im shotin for 12's on slick w/o nitrous ans 11's w/slicks w/nitrous. im still thinkin of getting rid of the gst later and building me a turbo neon...first gen of course.
200 hp in this light of a car will be more than enough to beat alot of the shit talkers. my last rt i had bolt ons no engine work and i could beat gt's with work. im not bragging, gt's are slow (most) but im saying this cause the neon was quick for what it was and what i had done. |
