SRT-4 question!!!!!!!!!1

I was thinking in getting a scooby, but i dont knw. I've put lots of tought in. And I can find a Skittle way cheaper and parts are way more cheap.. WRX parts tend to be real expensive.... any how. question was. I want to knw from personal exp. IF SRT-4's handle good? I mean not only as if they were fast or what not. but reliable is what im concerned!.... I mean i just hear so many ppl talk Crap about em. They break this they break that... blabh blah.. I dont knw if ppl just hating on em.. Or what not..
BUt i really love the way the look and sound, and i am thnkin of gettin one in the next week or 2..
Some advice would be greatly apreciated !!!!

ps. Im just plannin to run stock boost...

I would take my srt-4 over a wrx anyday....as for a sti...id put my money elsewhere. For instance a evo 9 or a 03 cobra. I love my srt-4 to death but to chicks its only a neon.

I have never had any trouble from the SRT parts I use(well, except the 03 timing belt tensioner had a weird problem, but the 04 one I use now doesnt)

My car has been flawless..it was sprayed by 2500 miles and had a turbo upgrade by 4000 miles. The car puts down about 427whp with less than $2100 into it. I personally know wrx's with over $16k with 7 whp less.lol.

Its funny you listed $16k b/c thats what it took to make this 04 STi stock to 616awhp full time meth injection. Mid 10's on its stock rims and tires, on the break in tune. WRX-STi with that 16k set up the result would be the same as the block has been totaly replaced.

Love the srt would have rather had the wrx because of the awd but when it boils down to it 6 thousand dollars for a slower car just doesnt sound right, granted the wrx isnt all that much slower stock but for that extra cash u can buy a ton of porn cuz srt owners get no respect..... unless ur me because mines orange.

heh, true, the ONLY parts that have failed on me on my neon ever were ones it was my fault to begin with(like the spun rod bearing where I decided an itty bitty scratch on the crankshaft journal was going to be ok because the machinist said so, rather than replacing the crank like I should have)
