Thats a new one. Maybe the quality of the wires. Did he change plugs and wires at the same time? The only thing I could find related to plug wires made no mention of flashing the PCM or anything of that sort. He's the TSB

bluelighting is an unknown quantity at this point: 10
It's doing the thing with the guages where they go all the way up, then back down, every time he starts his car. He traded his 03 wires in for 04 wires, and is not sure if he has them on the correct way. He also used the same plugs that he has had on the car since he bought it.

Ahh...ha!
Has any electrical stuff been installed recently? Ground wire molested?

If NO to the above, try reseating the 3 connectors at the PCM.

damn sorry it took so long to respond but my computer has been down for a little... yeah its doing the thing with the guages about every other time he starts the car. now as for the wires being the wrong way, no. i dont know where you got that from but their right. he did change the plugs about a week or so before he changed the wires, so hes changing them again today. Ive never seen this before and would like to help him out. o i forgot, it has a stage one on it dont know if that changes anything or not.
