Gandy, I-275, I-75, at the right times of day would work fine.

street tuning is an oxy moron unless you have a standalone and a wideband, with a stock or near stock SRT4 theres not much you can adjust anyway unless you have a return line...then I suppose you can adjust fuel pressure, how can you "tune" without control of pulsewidth or at the very least fuel pressure?

Not necessarily, if you have wideband and egt monitoring capabilities (timing would be good also) you could adjust a number of things i.e.wastgate, boost controller, map clamp, etc. and have a stronger running car with quite a decent gain in hp...you don't necissarily have to have a standalone. I am datalogging with Zeitronix and making my adjustments to my MBC and Map clamp to reach my desired A/F (11.5) @WOT, no standalone here.

We'll hook up my laptop on Saturday and log your timing, long term and short term fuel trims and your intake air temps and see what the ECU is doing.

true...but my map clamps I always set right below cutout and never messed with them from there...they were finicky enough as was and tended to break on any excuse, I hated having to make a new one...took like 1 hour...went through 5 of the stupid things before I got pissed off and went with a standalone

True, the voltage adjuster on mine is extremely touchy, any more than 1/4 or a turn in either direction and you could go kaboom!

Your friend needs to address his fuel situation, def. needs some bigger injectors and probably a return line w/ a Walbro 255 too. He would get more timing with more fuel and a little H2O injection, he could up the boost also. In his case a nice piggyback with those mods could give him a real sick tune. But tuning wise you have very little to work with the way it stands now, get more fuel to the motor and take it from there

I'm guessing he's using ATLEAST a Safc.
