swap curious
I was looking for a project car and was thinking of dropping a 2.4 in a neon coupe then matching it with a v6 stratus tranny if possible, then turbo. I know this would be a potent swap as srt's still crush all competiton and they r 4 door. I wanted to know how much every one out there thinks i would get for the stock neon motor after i pull it. lemme know all positive thoughts or suggestions. thanks.

definatley worth it....even with 5psi your looking at mid-high 14 second 1/4 mile times...oh and forget the v6 tranny, the stock neon tranny is good for 400+ft lbs assuming you use a clutch to handle the power...how do I know? because I have the swap myself...even non turbo a 2.4 neon will put you into the high 14 second range, oh and as a bonus you can bolt on all the DOHC neon stuff to the 2.4
