Engine swap: Labor only. Possible quote please?
Hello there, I'm looking for a quote on how much it'd be to take out the old engine; and swap in a new one (myself provided.).
It will be a direct bolt in, no splicing, other needless stuff needed. All I would ask additionally to do would be to replace some seals (like rear main/oil seal, stuff like that easy stuff) when doing it since shooting two birds; one stone etc.
I wish to keep the old engine so I can practice on it/sell it to recoup cost if it comes to that.. I can't do it where I live due to many reasons, biggest one since an HOA.
But heh, if needbe I'll help and bring over pizza at lunch to make ya guys more happy.
So, car is Subaru Legacy GT, 2.5: EJ25D engine. 1996. I can provide FSM and *******, maybe other misc stuff as well.
