Brad Simmons race engine
Hey Drew I don't know if you remember but I bought Brads race engine. Well I have just over 2000 miles on it and it is pushing coolant out of the overflow.
He told me the head was O-ringed but I don't know whether they are copper or SS and do you know what size wire was used? Also where can I buy the wire?
I tried calling the number but it went straight to VM and the mailbox was full.
I tried re torquing the head studs to 110ft lbs but that didn't help at all.
Other than that the engine runs great.

I cant remember which o-rings we used on that head. I was looking though my pictures but I didn't have any shoots of the deck on the head. I will get in contact with Brad and contact you at the number you left in the PM.

Well I got .030 SS Piano wire and my dad annealed it. Put an OEM HG instead of the Felblow haha.. So far its seeing 32psi and has yet to blow. I put ARP L19 headstuds instead of the ARP2000s.
I'm converting the car to Speed Density with Link V3 got a 50 psi AEM boost gauge with 5 bar map and a GM IAT with weld in bung. I am injecting 625 mL of meth now but am adding a second 625 mL nozzle since I cant get any timing out of this thing 8 degrees then she knocks.
I can't wait to get rid of my little 54 trim and throw a Borg Warner S372 or HTA 3586 on her.
