aftermarket lowering springs will work fine, but get a set of good sport shocks will make the springs actually work, and tokiko blues and kyb replacement shocks, while better then stock (mostly because they are new) are not sport oriented minimum is kyb agx then illimina then bilsten and koni...

If the shocks were good to start with, it's hard to believe they could have
been blown out in 7 days, especially since the car wasn't really slammed, but we don't know much about her driving...... Some people have brought cars to me for aftermarket spring installations where the shocks were bad to start with............and for sure, when the shocks are bad at the start, the shocks won't get better just because I install aftermarket springs for someone........ There is a difference in blown out and worn out....... worn out is where the shock ceases to damp any more. Blown out is where oil is leaking past the seals. Your definition may vary.... When oil is leaking past the seals, I don't know anything that can be done except toss the leaking shocks out. If all they are doing is showing a loss of efficiency, sometimes shocks can be rebuilt................but only if your rebuilder has been doing it long enough to know what he is doing.................. People who don't know about shock rebuilding are better off to just go buy new ones, instead of complaining that since THEY can't rebuild shocks, they think that neither can anyone else......-Bob |

I agree with S.H. when it comes to cornering shocks are as important as springs if not moreso. and most shocks cannot deal with a cut-spring lowered car since they bottom out the strut/shock assy. now a set of shocks designed for the short travel, those will not die.. |

I have new sets of Skunk 2 springs and coilover kits coming in on a good deal if interested. I can get u the cheaper KYB GR2 struts also and have a pretty decent inexpensive kit. Also have the Camber kits, which I suggest also. LMK if I can help
