celica 86 broke engine block mount any ideas

ok so i broke the engine mount on the front passenger side of my block and im wondering if anyone has 1) had this happen or 2) has created a side mount that bolts onto the side of the block cause there are extra threaded holes on my block msg me back if u have any ideas or else i might have to buy another engine

When the motor mount breaks, if the rubber part broke loose from the steel, some people get another one with good rubber, and through-bolt it, so it won't separate.

If you broke the metal mount that bolts to the block, that can be welded
and/or braced/strengthened. Some people make a bigger plate and weld it to the orig. mount, and if possible, bolt it down in more than one location.

If you broke the block where the bolts hold the mount, you will have to make something so the mount can be bolted to another location.

If you can post some pics well lit/close enough that we can see the problem clearly, we can probably give better help than by guessing.-Bob
