I used to drive a GST FWD. I know its really hard to get out of the hole in a FWD with lots of torque or HP. Practice makes perfect. I never really launched the car. Just took off slowoly to get the car rolling. Then mash the pedal. When the tires began to smkow Id just grab second. Always hooked after that though. RR Ive seen your tires (unless youve gotten new ones) and they are low profile and bald. Get some with a little meat on them. That may help.

I dont know what size your wheels are Charles but I know that Nitto Drag Radials for 275 45r17 (17x9 rims) are only 150 dollars a piece. Yours will probably be cheaper than that.
