Do you even know what a stock lambo runs low 12s and thats with a damn good driver. And Ive seen the Lambo up close and its real even talked to the guy for about an hour about the car. So what you got bet by a Lambo that doesnt prove a thing just that Cornishcrx would problaly bet you to then.

Well with a reported 3.8 0-60 MPH I dont think a FWD would be even in first with a Diablo VT. Hell even without dumping the clutch they pull a 4.3 0-60 MPH. Despite what has been said the Lambo trannys are very strong (was it Car&Driver that was popping the clutch at 7000RPM to launch...clutches arent that strong though) and it does take some talent to launch a NA V12 with AWD without roasting a clutch.
Either:
(A) He didnt want to race.
(B) He didnt know how to launch the car.
Either one can be expected from an owner of a $300K car. Im guessing he just didnt know how to launch it which makes an enormous difference in 1/4 mile times. But even without doing an AWD launch the Diablo is capable of LOW 12s on radials (12.2@122 - hell of a trap speed too) and I would fully believe it would run high 11s with a good launch (knocks .5 seconds off the 0-60).
Sorry I just cant believe a FWD on radials (with a passenger even) can hook up well enough to run those sort of times. Slicks yes...radials no.

Man there is this guy that always showed up to Miami Subs with his red lambo.... needless to say the lambo got beat by a crx that gave him a 2-3car lead....(that is the crx gave the lambo a lead!!).. and a firebird on the giggly gas took him out with no problem.... What does it mean.. the guy didnt know how to drive it..
So I do believe that a guy can take him out off the line in street racing.. it is very possible... Especially if it was the same guy... I bet if this guy were to go to the 1/4 track he wouldnt come close to a mid 12 becuase of his skill... It is a race to brag about...
I remember I went to South Beach for spring break in my 300ZX and pulled up next to a Porshe carrea somethng or other...(80K car) and this girl was driving it (no offense women but she looked ditsy).. I tryed my best to get her to race me... I felt it was the only chance I ever had to say I beat a 80K car with my Z... her BF looked over at me and laughed and said nice try I know why you want to race... OH well.. You have props to brag just be sure you dont take it as your car is 12second car unless you got the timeslips... ES...

when i worked at pepboys in brandon i saw a red diablo get absolutley run down by a GSR.. the lambo pulled into the parking lot and i began to tlak tohim. he told me how he gets beat all the time.. then i finally figured out why (hadnt looked at the car fully yet.. but it looked short).. it was a fiero. they make lambo body kits for fieros and they are actually quite popular... so you might want to check under the hood next time (thats the rear hood FYI).

This guy at Miami Subs was the real deal.. we looked at his car.. looked at the engine.. etc.. just didnt know how to drive.... But yea sometimes you can confuse the kit cars for the real deals.. especially when you are just linning up with them...

Number 2 when I have seen him hes up there with a dude in the passenger seat. If he cant pick up women with that car (from Mons even
) hes hopeless.

well thanks you all are probley right it must have been a fiero(those italian 12 cyls. and GM 46 cyls all sound the same) god you know how those replicas can be so real looking(um i think only to a flounder). it was all the way to mid 4th + my car couldnt hook up if it existance depended on it also if a remember correctly that the 96 diablo is far from an 11 second car i just checked it out and it was barly in the 12s

Is this the same Lambo. that is at Desoto all the time because if it is he runs from anywhere in a high 11 to a mid 13 depending on his pass. This guy couldnt drive his car out of a wet paper sack.
So maybe or likely Charles did beat him. Not due to the car but out drove this guy which wouldnt be to difficult based on his times.
Either way win or loose its a fun car to line up with.
