I am not a 1.8T guy so I don't want to say for sure, but I don't think the transverse mounted 1.8Ts are interchangeable with longitudinally mounted 1.8Ts

What would he be putting the swap in? This transverse motor fits in my Golf 100% and will fit in MK3/Mk4 Golf/GTI/Jetta/Beetle but the Passat/A4/B5 motor, which is longitudinally mounted, will not accept this swap.

What does this thing need to be ready to put together? Also do you have all the receipts for the motor build?

I do not have the receipts as this is how i got it and the seller never gave me the receipts that's why I am selling everything cheap. If you look at the motor you can see its real clean. The motor just needs to be put in, I recommend stand alone engine management and then just some decent injectors, thats pretty much it. That allows you to avoid dealing with APR and their tuning. I have a certified professional mechanic that can do all the work, he works on vws daily.
