**This is NOT a Race ** (Day 1) Saturday. February 28th, cars will start to depart at 9:00 am sharp and on (Day 2) March 1st @ 9:00 am sharp. The rally is going to be a predetermined, 2 day drive of Florida and total 550 miles. Each day’s drive will be provided in a folder as you start. The first days drive will end at predetermined location in Clearwater area. More details on hotel accommodations after final car selection January 31st 2015. ALL STATE AND FEDERAL LAWS AND DRIVING LAWS SHOULD BE FOLLOWED
How you win the Rally and the Grand Prize:
** It is not a race! You win by collecting points! ** On rally day, before crossing the start line you will receive a folder, in this folder will be a collection of things that will explain how you collect points on the rally. For example each picture that you take at a checkpoint will earn you 5 points. There will be numerous challenges that your car can accomplish to earn more points throughout the rally. More details will be provided in YOUR folder given at the starting line.
How do you enter a car?
Drivers interested in applying will pre-register by sending an email to RallyYourHeart@
gmail.com. Car selection will not be done until January 31st 2015. There will be different classes of cars (supercars, modified cars, sport car, trucks, everyday cars). If your car is selected, it will need to be available to be on display February 27th during the charity event night. You will need a co-driver(s) and all people in rally cars must be 21 or older. Drivers and passengers will be supplied the driving disclosure that will be sent one month prior to the event to review and then sign on the day of event registration. Donation to be 1st on the starting line.
The amount to enter your vehicle will be $150 if selected and it guarantees you a spot on the starting grid. The more you donate the higher your starting number will be but $150 will get you in the Rally. Enter fee will cover hotel room on February 28th in Clearwater, Car decals and t-shirt / give aways. Cars that are selected for the Rally are encouraged to get sponsors to get a better starting place on the starting grid. The top 5 donators will be recognized at the Charity event on Friday night.
