In the past if i warned someone, and a few hours later they did something again someone else and another admin warned them it was difficult to keep track of this fact and take further action. some people got a billion warnings and you probably wondered how can they continue to get away with stuff, and others got 2 warnings and were on a temp ban.

i expect some of you will have some harsh words to say about this but keep this in mind. if infractions are something that bother you, chances are you KNOW your breaking our rules. If your following the rules above, this wont affect you in the least.

infractions will be given out for the following :

* Racism (3)
* Threats / Verbal Attacks (3)
* discussion of illegal activities (1)
* negativity towards the site or its members (5)
* starting threads or posts for the purpose of increasing post count or creating drama (1)
* being disruptive (2)
* any other behavior detrimental to TR's image. (1)

the number in brackets is the "points" awarded for that infraction, they decay after a week. 10 points in a week and you'll get a 7 day ban.

Now, this is only available to Admins/Super Mods and I've warned them about abuse of the system. Each time one of these is given out i get notified and I'll be reviewing them. I've also warned them to use this sparingly and to think twice before giving out an infraction. They can also choose to give just a warning and it not count against you.

it's really a tool to lessen the work load on us, 90% of you wont care about it, you'll never get an infraction, or only get one opccasionally. This tool is specifically for the trouble makers, the asshoels, the people who think it's fun to come on TR and act out.
