Part of having a shop is dealing with issues. Getting the word out is a good thing and having pictures is good evidence. If you have a issue with a customers car,you call them and let them know immediately whats going on.

4. The car was accidently damaged while attempting to bring the car into the shop so it would not be left outside.

So if the customer stated this ,why not push the car into the bay to avoid causing further damage. If the tranny is fucked or the brakes were iffy or the ecu was iffy, that to me is a dead giveaway not to drive it into the bay. If you guys would have used any part of your brain, you could have avoided this whole scenario. I have been to many different shops over the last 5 years and its the people who take pride in their work to get it done right and that makes customers come back for your business. Having this posted may be bad for you now but it will help you in the long run and will help you evaluate your employees and the way things are being handled.

You need to replace the intercooler with a brand new one, you will probably lose more business in the long run if you don't resolve this problem perfectly.

i think you are just wanting to see more attention brought to this thread for only one reason which we both know, i wont put you out there like though. For someone who is a shop fourm mod, i wouldnt think you out of everyone would be talking so much and not moderating at all. The situation IS being taken care of so stop comming in here just because this is one of your friends. If this was someone you didnt know, it would not concern you at all. Im not going to keep saying the same things over again and thats why i thought you would not unlock the thread , but now it seems like you are trying to give me carpal tunnel syndrome.

is it not clear that in all of the replies i said if we broke ANYTHING we would fix it, why do I need to keep repeating myself? Its obvious that Kirk has something personal going on here he's not going to admit it though, the customer will be taken care of regardless of all the talking. Before this thread was created , we had a plan of action and i will stick to that. later

It's not. If I ran a shop, I would NEVER dream of making excuses about damage done to a customer's car. RESOLVE THIS LIKE A MAN, JAMIL.
GOOD shops have a hard time staying open these days. Maybe soon you'll see that side of business economics that you deserve.
I edited my post. Simply because I didnt want to be looked at wrong for calling kirk a deusch... but it does seem a little unfair... He never kept the Driven Concepts threads going this long... especially when all the tag along replys start showing up... like yours.

you believe what you think.
Not only is Kirk keeping this open because you are trying to screw a LONG TIME ORIGINAL TR member. He is keeping it open because My business Has been supporting TR since its conception.

You will:
Replace Intercooler
Replace 45 degree 3" silicon hose
Replace Headlight Bracket
Fix and repaint the fender
and you better hope that bumper paint matches the rest.

I don't go on forums crying about my problems for no reason. You told us you would be at your shop at 11am and you didn't show up. Even your neighbors said you prolly didn't show because of this situation. Not to mention not answering your phone calls. BUT WOW as soon as you saw this thread you tried to brush it under the carpet didn't you !!
You were glued to this thread all night !!
If you have an ounce of dedication to your shop like you did this thread your place would be successful and not a hang out.

There are 2 people in this world, those that learn from their mistakes and those that just keep making them...Which one are you ?

I don't know a single person in this thread, but I have heard really good things about Brothers Racing... I think that the plaintiff and defendant should use phone communication and this thread should be locked.

I do not have anything against the shop in itself, I am just enforcing a rule on TR. Now if I wasn't being a "deusch" as you call it then this thread would of been deleted and the customer would have kept getting avoided. It would be a whole different scenario with you if it was your car in question now wouldn't it? I am going to ignore your previous comment as I do not need to step down to your level and call you names in return. Thanks.

If Jamil decides to make right and learn from this situation then he will come out a better man, and I think everyone could agree on that point.

ok but if its that big of an ordeal get a lawyer and have him served then things will get taken care of im sure. till then you guys are pulling strings to make this guy surrender like you are the mafia. give him the chance to pull it together he admitted his mistake let him fix it. if it doesnt get resolved contact the lawyer and take action then post a thread simply stating what happened and to inform people to make a good decision when deciding what shop to use. not telling them dont go to brotherz they suck because many other people think differently and that is just plain immature and would piss me off and I wouldnt speed anything up for the guy either. no offense but just being real.
